Epcot

Wednesday afternoon we went to Epcot. That pretty much spelled disaster!!! We knew a storm was coming so we decided to go up in the ball first.

Well, after the ride, we stepped outside and it was pouring down rain plus the loudest clap of thunder happened right when we stepped outside. Tanner went into nervous mode!! Plus Anna peed in her pants....needless to say I didn't bring a change of clothes!!

We went to eat and waited for the storm to pass. Then we rode the Nemo ride.
And visited China Town.
We were going to stay for the laser light show but since one child had wet pants and the other was worried about more thunder and the noise of the fireworks, we decided to call it a night!! We may not visit Epcot again for several years!!!

Animal Kingdom

On Wednesday of our trip, we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning. The kids enjoyed it....not much to do there for kiddos our age but what we did, we had fun!!

We rode on the safari where we saw all kinds of animals. Tanner had me take a picture of each one for a picture book. Don't worry...I won't bore you with ALL the pictures!!

More of Day 2

Okay...sorry about the delay. The wi-fi at Disney World was super slow!!! So we are now home and I can update the blog with some pics at a much faster pace!

On Day 2 after nap, we went back to Hollywood Studios. We first played in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. It was made for the people to feel as big as ants!

Day 2: Hollywood Studios and Character Breakfast

Day 2 was basically our first day for the parks. We did some research and with President's Day on Monday, those people that blog about Disney mentioned that the Magic Kingdom would be the busiest earlier in the week. So we decided to do the other parks first. Extra morning magic hours for Hollywood Studios was on Tuesday so we opted to start there.

Character Dining with Disney Junior

This is by far the best picture!! I love Oso in the background with that smile and wave and I also love Daddy's face trying to comfort Anna!!! Needless to say, Anna is steering clear of the characters!

Last, but certainly not least, Tanner with June
After breakfast, we rode the 3D Toy Story ride.
Someone is all smiles again!

Guess where we are going?!

You guessed it!!! Disney World!!! And we fly out tomorrow morning!!! We told the kids on Valentine's Day so we wouldn't have to hear every day if today was the day! Tanner gets up every morning and says "I am so excited to go to Disney World!" Chad asked Anna if she wanted to meet a real princess and she said "no, Anna princess!!" Ha ha....she is going to be in shock to see that there are other princesses out there! I will try to post frequently to the blog why we are gone. Next stop....the happiest place on Earth!

A tutu kind of night!

All is finally back to normal here at the Wesselman house. Tanner did awesome with having his tonsils and adenoids removed. He was a "little nervous" beforehand but was a champ! After it was all over, he said that he could probably have more tonsils taken out the next week - he was informed that he didn't have any more to take out!! That afternoon, he ate 2 chicken nuggets, some fries, apples, apple jacks, and a chocolate chip cookie. After that, his appetite slowed down considerably and he had a few rough days. He was a trooper with his pain medicine and is pretty much back to "normal!"

While all that was going on with Tanner, Anna decided that she needed some attention too and came down with asthmatic bronchitis. She had a horrible cough and her lungs sounded pretty tight so I had started breathing treatments on her a couple days before Tanner's surgery. That Saturday, she started wheezing so off we went to after hours. We had to do breathing treatments every 4 hours and she was started on prednisone and an antibiotic. So, needless to say, I had one that needed pain meds every 4 hours and one that needed breathing treatments every 4 hours. Not a fun week was had by many!!!

Now that we are back amongst the living, we had a tutu dance party last night! I will definitely be able to use these pictures against Tanner one of these days!! :)

Dancing in Anna's room

The party moved to Tanner's room!
I love this picture...it is rare that I can get a picture of her actually smiling and laughing!!
This picture is awesome. I love the look on their faces!!
Hope everyone is having a great week!!
