Raising our Russian Prince, Tanner, and Chinese Princess, Anna

A tutu kind of night!

All is finally back to normal here at the Wesselman house. Tanner did awesome with having his tonsils and adenoids removed. He was a "little nervous" beforehand but was a champ! After it was all over, he said that he could probably have more tonsils taken out the next week - he was informed that he didn't have any more to take out!! That afternoon, he ate 2 chicken nuggets, some fries, apples, apple jacks, and a chocolate chip cookie. After that, his appetite slowed down considerably and he had a few rough days. He was a trooper with his pain medicine and is pretty much back to "normal!"

While all that was going on with Tanner, Anna decided that she needed some attention too and came down with asthmatic bronchitis. She had a horrible cough and her lungs sounded pretty tight so I had started breathing treatments on her a couple days before Tanner's surgery. That Saturday, she started wheezing so off we went to after hours. We had to do breathing treatments every 4 hours and she was started on prednisone and an antibiotic. So, needless to say, I had one that needed pain meds every 4 hours and one that needed breathing treatments every 4 hours. Not a fun week was had by many!!!

Now that we are back amongst the living, we had a tutu dance party last night! I will definitely be able to use these pictures against Tanner one of these days!! :)

Happy Chinese New Year 2012!!

Chinese New Year 2012...the Year of the Dragon. That is supposed to be good luck. So let's hope for some good luck in the year 2012!! I just had to post a pic (or two) of Anna last year on Chinese New Year!

Please keep us in your prayers as Tanner, aka Dubby, is having his tonsils/adenoids removed Friday morning. I think Momma is dreading this just as much as Tanner! He keeps saying that he is getting just a little nervous! We shopped yesterday for jello and pudding so hopefully he will eat something. This is a kid that can't have ice cream (milk allergy) so therefore doesn't like anything cold. Thanks in advance for all the prayers. God is Good....All the Time!!

Happy Gotcha Day Anna!!

1 year ago today we went to a small government building in Nanjing, China and was handed a beautiful little girl. Tears, tears, and more tears!! Anna is such a blessing to us and we can't even imagine life without her anymore. She truly has become the Princess!!

So what has Anna mastered in the 1 year of being home:

Anna has went from 12 month clothes to 24 month clothes (and some 3t shirts.)
Her foot has grown from a size 2 shoe to a size 6!! (plus cramps in feet!!)
She has gained 7 pounds which puts her at 27 pounds.
She went from being fed with a spoon and bottle to feeding herself using a fork, spoon, and cup.
She is learning new English words everyday. She can name some of her colors and letters. She is working on counting to 10.
She went from walking with a waddle to running and jumping!
Anna has blossomed into an awesome toddler and is definitely the princess of the Wesselman house!!

We try to keep our holidays low key around here so we don't over stimulate our kiddos. Over stimulation leads to a grumpy, grouchy low and no one has any fun with that!! So here is what our Christmas eve consisted of:

A game of: "where's Toby?!"

After watching Dubby, Anna finally figured out what to do!

Then we headed to Chad's sister's, Leigh, and had Christmas with the Wesselman family.

After nap, it was time to get in our Christmas outfits and head off to church. Then we had supper at the Olive Garden.

After arriving home and putting on our Christmas PJ's, the kids exchanged their gifts to each other.

After those presents, we sat out cookies and milk for Santa and off to bed! Good night everyone!

We have a tradition of baking Christmas cookies from scratch using cookie cutters and sprinkles. Chad and I started the tradition before kids and it was so much fun. Well...with two kids now, we never got around to it on a weekend. So...Mommy of the year award....I got everything together while Daddy was at work and we made our Christmas cookies!! Those two did so well and actually didn't make this huge mess that I was anticipating!

O Christmas Tree

I just realized that I hadn't posted anything since Thanksgiving!! I have been taking pics but just don't take the time to put them onto the camera and then to blog land! The Sunday after Thanksgiving is always when we put up the Christmas tree and decorations. Chad usually assembles the tree and lights and then we all hang the ornaments. We still use our 6 ft slim that we had when we first got married. It is such a cute little tree and fits perfect in the corner. Now, with two kids that Santa visits, we have put a bigger tree upstairs and that is where Santa will leave his goodies. I need to get some pics of that one someday!

Not much excitement here in the Wesselman house but sometimes that is quite all right!! Everyone is over their illnesses and ready to eat some turkey! :) We have still been having some nice days here with the temps in the 50s and 60s so we try to venture outside to release some energy.

Anna could swing all day long especially if someone pushes her really high! It is hard to tell in this picture but we put pea gravel around our swingset last month. It looks so much nicer and Tanner loves digging around in it!

If Tanner is good in pre-K all week, then we go to McDonalds on Fridays after school. It is funny because there are usually at least 3-4 other kids from his school there also. Anna even loves playing in the tunnels now!
I think I found a new baby-sitter!! They just stood there mesmerized while Santa sang. Not sure if a $129 Santa is in my price range right now though!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I know we have more to be thankful for this year than last and hope that we continue to remember what is important!!

Seal, Penguin, or Dog?!

Seal, Penguin, or Dog?! That was the question that Anna got today at the doctor's office. She was able to pick out her very own nebulizer! She had been having cold symptoms for the past week and a half, and this nurse momma, wasn't impressed!! But Saturday, she decided to start wheezing. Okay...okay....I guess we had better trek to the doctor but we waited until Monday to go. I am not an "after hours clinic" kind of mom when I don't absolutely have to!!

For my birthday every year, we go to our local zoo for their Halloween party, aka Boo at the Zoo. This year was no different but we did add one more kid!! It didn't seem as if there were as many trick or treat booths which was kind of disappointing, but the kids still had fun.

I think this picture is soooooo sweet!!! Anna was scared and Bubby was protecting her!

After the zoo, we went to Hacienda which has wonderful "fake" Mexican food! It was definitely a great birthday celebration with all my family!!

Chicago!!

A couple weekends ago we traveled up to Chicago to stay with my bestest, Beth. We have been friends since 7th grade and it was great to hang out with her. Tanner and Anna loved staying with Auntie Beth!!

We traveled to Effingham, IL to catch the Amtrak to Chicago. We all had fun on that new experience!

First stop in Chicago was Giordano's on Michigan Ave. They are known for their Chicago style pizza.

The next morning we went to Shedd Aquarium. We had never been there before and we loved it!

That afternoon we went to Legoland in Schaumberg, which is a suburb of Chicago. We also went to Ikea (Momma's request!) and The Rainforest Cafe.

On Sunday morning, we went to the Willis (aka Sears) Tower. We walked out onto the SkyDeck which is basically a glass enclosure sticking out the sides of the windows. That was awesome!

Monday morning we caught the train at Union Station and came home. We were definitely a site with 2 carseats, 1 stroller, 2 suitcases, and 2 backpacks!! But we made it!! We can't wait until we go again!

Holiday World

Tanner, Anna, and I went to Holiday World this past weekend with Chad's family. Sandy, aka Grandma, works at Mead Johnson and they had their company picnic. We had tons of fun!! The weather was a bit chilly so we couldn't do the water park but we still were able to spend a full day riding the rides.

This almost gives me nightmares!!!

With Tanner, I remember wanting to get his milestone pictures right when he had a birthday. Now...with two...it seems to slip my mind! So Anna turned 2 in April and Tanner turned 4 in May, but August is when they got their pictures taken. Oh well, right?! But my two camera hams had an awesome photo session. It was hard to pick just a few pics!!

1 year ago today is the day that we saw Anna's face for the first time! I was at work and Chad calls (which he only does unless there is a major question or concern.) He said that we got a referral. I was like, No way!! I found a computer that had internet (this was before my iphone) and pulled up the file. Oh, first, I forwarded it to Chad so he could see it too. Here is what we saw!

She was 12 months old in these two pictures. The minute we saw them we knew we were looking at our princess Anna. My, how time flies. She is growing into a fashion diva toddler with purses, shoes, and bling. She is definitely loving this whole American thing!!

Tanner's First day of Pre-K

Tanner survived his first day of Pre-K!! He walked in like a champ, holding his sister's hand the whole time. (BTW...they hardly ever hold hands!!) He found a seat that he wanted and sat down. Daddy told him bye and then I kissed him and said that I would be back when school was over. Daddy got out of the room but as I was leaving, I hear "No Mommy...don't go....wait!!" Then the tears start and he runs and grabs ahold of my leg. Chad had to come back in to settle him down while I continue to leave. He does much better when Daddy leaves than when Mommy leaves. I picked him up after class and he was fun. He said he cried and whined a little bit but he was better!! :) And he said that he wants to go back.

Sponsor a Child

Chad and I have been talking about giving back due to the fact that we are so blessed in our lives. Each month, we have looked into what we could give a little money to which would help other people. Well...FTIA (our adoption agency) has started a new foster care program in China. You can sponsor a child in China to help them be in foster care instead of an orphanage. We decided that this would be an awesome opportunity to help a child in need. So we are now sponsoring a little baby girl - Annie!!

Is she not the cutest thing ever?!!!!! If only we could bring her here to the United States. Hmmmm.......

6 months ago today we were waiting in the Civil Affairs office in Nanjing, China for our special delivery. We got there before the children did so we got to see them walk up the sidewalk and into the building. Here was our special package:

Yesterday morning we went to the National Aviation Museum. They had several military planes and vehicles to look at and some you could get in. Tanner liked it if you could actually get in them but didn't have much to do with just walking around.

Fort Pickens is located about 10 minutes away from our condo...and we stumbled upon it while driving around. Tanner wanted to get out and look at the cannon and glad we did. We could actually walk around and through the fort which Tanner loved!

The kids had a lot of fun on in the ocean. Tanner more so than Anna. She basically liked sitting where the water would come up and get her wet. She didn't like the sand on her hands or on her feet. Jellyfish are really bad here right now and both boys got stung. I thought Tanner was going to done after that!! But we finally convinced him that just playing where the water is coming to the shore will be okay.

The first night we were on the ocean, Tanner kept saying that he wanted to play in the snow!! Too funny!!

Vacation, Vacation, Vacation

Well...we are finally on vacation!!! Wahoo!!!! For those of you who don't know, we are in Pensacola Beach, FL. Our first beach vacation with the kiddos! We arrived around 4pm yesterday and already experienced some good florida food and then walked on the beach. We have one sand lover and one not so much!! Can you guess who is who?! Now for the pics!!

A VERY Happy Boy turning 4!! Tanner wanted a digger party...so I turned it into a construction party. I think he liked it!

Tanner wanted his party at our local miniature golf center...but he didn't want to play golf, only the monkey mountain. Good thing I thought to ask him before I ordered the golf package!!!

And a funny story....Tanner wanted to be 4 so bad. Everyone in his preschool class was already 4 and most of them turned 5 during the school year. So a couple months ago, he said "Momma, I am never going to turn 4. I am going to stay "free (3)" forever!" Well, he did eventually turn 4! He was riding his mustang that morning and looked up at me with a big grin and said "Momma, I am 4!!!" And he also make the comment that he turned 4 while he was sleeping and when he woke up, his pajamas still fit. He was surprised that he didn't grow when he turned 4!!!

My sweet, little Tanner turned 4 today! My...how he has grown. He is such a joy and lives life to it's fullest! I thank God everyday for this little boy. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it. Enjoy the sneak peek of what his birthday consisted of. He was so shocked when we went into the garage this morning and found his mustang. I think he has already put 20 miles on it!! We are finally having some nice weather again. We had a cold spell (not real cold, but not warm either!) We decided to go to the zoo yesterday with our friends and then have a picnic.

Tanner has finally been able to get some T-ball games in now that it isn't raining continuously!! He likes it but he wants to get the ball every time the other team bats. He doesn't understand why the other kids get the ball. The joys of sharing!!!

Water Table Fun

I had been wanting to get the kids a water table ever since it started getting warmer outside. Our friends didn't want theirs anymore so we bought it!! The kids love it just as much as I thought they would. Anna, especially, loves to splash the water. Tanner likes to fill the little fish up and spray the grass. He says the grass needs to watered...after all the rain we have had, I don't think the grass will need any water for at least a month!!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I was allowed to sleep in, then had blueberry pancakes for breakfast. YUMMY!! I received a new devotional book and a shirt from my old high school. We went to church, took naps, played in the water table, and then went to my Mom and Dad's for supper. My Dad, brother, and Chad got the supper ready and cleaned up afterwards!! I felt very blessed and I LOVE being a Momma!!

Hope everyone had an awesome Easter weekend!! We actually had a pretty quiet one, which is nice. Chad's parents met us at Bob Evans on Saturday for lunch so they could see the kids for a little while. Then my best friend from Chicago came home and we got to hang out Saturday night. This was the first meeting for Anna and her Auntie Beth!! Sunday we went to church, came home and napped, and then went to my parents for dinner.

I hope Anna had a great first holiday and Easter with her forever family!!

So on the actual birthday, we had a few presents to get the day started!!

My little princess is turning 2 today!! My how time flies!! We have been home for almost 3 months but some days it feels like she has been a part of this family forever!! In the back of my mind, I think about her birthmom today wondering if she wonders where her little girl is and if she is still alive. I also thank God for someone finding her two years ago today! She was definitely in God's hands and God had a huge plan for her.

We are celebrating a little today but her party is Saturday. I asked myself "where would Anna want to eat on her birthday?" I think she would pick Fazoli's because she can inhale some spaghetti!!!

Mini-Golf

Last Friday, I took the kids to play miniature golf. My work sponsors a free weekend a couple times a year so I definitely take advantage of free entertainment!! Tanner has been asking to go...so who can say no when it is free! He definitely enjoyed it...Anna liked walking around with her club. She tried to get his ball a few times but for the most part, she didn't pester him!

A week ago Saturday, we took the kids (mainly Tanner) bowling for the first time. I think he liked it!! He had to use the handicap ramp because he wouldn't push the ball fast enough down the lane to knock down any pins. He says next time he will be bigger and won't have to use the ramp!!

There goes the ball...will it be a strike?!

Spring Fever!

We have had some awesome weather the last couple days. 60s and sun...can't get much better than that!! Plus just getting the kids outside to run off energy instead of in the house is wonderful!! My parents got us a family zoo membership for Christmas so off we went today...to the zoo. Now we can go as much as like...and it is free!! Snow Day!

So, here in Evansville, we got about 3-5 inches of snow on Thursday. Since we are still both off on FMLA, we decided to take the kids sledding. Sounds like fun, you think! Well...not with the Wesselman kids. Don't let the pics fool you. Tanner didn't like going down the hill and getting snow in his face. This pic is before we went down for the first time!!

So after going down the hill maybe three times, we decided to just pull them in the sled around the street. Well...Tanner wanted to pull me instead!! Needless to say, we didn't last long outside.

Home Sweet Home

Well...we made it home Saturday night around 8:00 PM. Our plane actually landed a little early in Evansville. The kids did fairly well on the long flight. They slept off and on for maybe 4-5 hours total. We ended up traveling for a total of 29 hours. We had a nice gathering of friends and family at the airport to welcome us home. It is always nice to see so many familiar faces!

Anna has been fighting sleep ever since we have been home. She goes to sleep around 8:00Pm and wakes up at 10:30 with a soaked diaper. She goes right back to sleep and is then up around 1:00 AM. She doesn't go back to sleep until 3 or 4. Then we have to wake her up by 9 so we can hopefully sleep the next night. She is already wanting the comfort of being held rather than sleeping in her crib. I know that is a good thing...but not at 1:00 AM!!!! Plus, the screaming then wakes up big brother who crawls in bed with his Momma. Tough love is about to begin here at the Wesselman house!!! Other than the sleep, Anna is adjusting nicely to the family. She is exploring more every day. Stay tuned for her progress!

Day 6 we just hung out in the hotel. Tanner and I went to the "music mall" and watched the fountains that dance with the music. Other than that, nothing!! Day 7 we went back to the play area. The kids had a lot of fun playing and Tanner made a friend there. They tried to talk to each other but that part didn't work real well!! They still played together though.

Today we went to an embroidery institute. Very fascinating, unfortunately, pictures were not allowed. This is where they embroider gowns for the royal people. Then we toured the city wall. This wall surrounds the city and has tunnels that house the soldiers during war.

Today is the day that we accepted Anna as our child. We signed the adoption certificate and put our thumbprint on all of the documents. There was no going back!!

On Day 2, we picked Anna up from the Jiangsu Province Embassy. She screamed and cried for her caretaker!! But then she fell asleep in the van on the way back to the hotel. As long as the caretaker wasn't in site, Anna was okay with us. Very emotional day for everyone!

We climbed the Great Wall of China!! It was still freezing but not as cold as yesterday. We still had to bundle up though!!

Chad went farther up than Tanner and I. The steps were so uneven and some were big and some were little. Some steps, Tanner could barely crawl up!!

Oh, it's that time of year!!! Love it...leaves changing, pumpkins, turkey. All of the feel good kind of things! Tanner had his Thanksgiving party at preschool today. He was so cute running around with his pilgrim hat on!

They played different games. He wasn't so sure about pin the feather on the donkey. He didn't like not being able to see!! But he loved bowling!!

Then he had a Thanksgiving feast. Looks yummy, huh?! Too bad Momma had to feed him like a baby. Not sure what that was all about. We will just add it the "it is just a phase" pile!!

An Update!

Hello everyone! Long time...no news. :( We were stuck in the paperwork mess with the US...isn't it amazingthat in this country we have thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants but to bring an orphan home from China needs pre-approval. I am thinking there is something wrong with that system. (and many others!!) Anyway, we finally got our approval from the US and we have gotten the letter from the National Visa Center saying that they received our approval as well. So...we have filed for Anna's visa to come into the US. The Beijing staff should receive it shortly and they will turn it in. In two weeks, they can go back and pick it up. After that, we should receive our travel approval, which means she is basically ours. (and we can show full pictures!) Kind of like the whole court thing in Russia only we won't be there. Once we receive our travel approval, we should travel in a couple weeks. So...the travel...will probably be middle December. Hoping and Praying that it will be early December so we won't be in China for Christmas. But if we are, we will have the best present of all!!

Tanner is very excited to be Leo from the Little Einsteins for Halloween. Needless to say, that is something that I couldn't just buy. I try to be crafty but don't always succeed. So...I am proud to say that I have made Tanner's costume. Not the actual clothes!! I bought a black shirt and orange pants but then Leo-ized them!

He was so proud to be dressed up just like his friend, Leo!

First Day of Preschool

Today was Tanner's first day of preschool. He did wonderful (as did I!) It is soooo nice because it is at our church, in Tanner's Sunday School class, with the same teacher, Ms. Amy. He loves Ms. Amy so I didn't think I would have anything to worry about. I asked him what he did today and he said they talked about the kissing hand, colored, and played. Then he recited his memory verse to me "Love your neighbors as yourself. Galatians 5:14" He said it perfectly!! And while Tanner was at preschool, Momma had a wonderful time at Target all by herself!

On the adoption front, after sending in our letter of intent, we got our pre-approval the very next day!! That is practically unheard of. After your pre-approval, you wait for your letter of acceptance which takes 3-4 months. We got ours one WEEK later!! God is definitely in control of bringing baby Anna home! We are now waiting on the CIS to approve us to adopt this little girl. That should take a couple of weeks. With everything going so smooth, it looks like we should travel to bring her home at the end of November, early December. What a God given Christmas present!! Will definitely keep everyone posted.

We had vacation bible school at our church last week. Tanner was "supposedly" to young for it but Nana was in charge so guess who got to go!! He absolutely loved it!! We are still singing and dancing to the songs. He memorized all five bible points also. He definitely got more out of it than I thought he would. I do know that he loved the songs the best!!

So ready to get in!

Since we moved, we have a much bigger backyard. So...we set up a little bit bigger pool on the patio. Tanner loves it!! He has so much fun in the water. I have him signed up for swimming lessons which should start pretty soon. That way he can learn how to swim and hopefully have even more fun.

On the China front, we have been in the top 5 for a couple months. At least 3 families have received matches. So we should be getting closer to getting a match. My motherly instinct tells me that "she" is born and waiting patiently for her forever family!

2 years ago today we walked away from the Baby Home with Tanner in our arms!! I can't believe that it has already been 2 years and then only 2 years. Time flies and he is growing bigger and bigger every day. We had an awesome day at Holiday World (a theme park about an hour from our house.) We are hoping to make that a tradition from now on. Tanner loved it and is ready to go back again!

My baby is 3 "old years" today! (That is how Tanner says it!!) I can't believe it. He is such a blessing to this family and is growing into a wonderful little boy. I thank God everyday for this child. I also want to thank his birthmom today for giving birth to this wonderful baby. She made a tough decision by giving him up hoping that he would have a better life. Tanner was born for us and I am so thankful that she followed her instincts.

My fluffy baby is 7 years old today! I can't believe he is 7. I am not sure how many years that is in dog years but I think it is getting up there. He has definitely slowed down and doesn't act like a puppy but he still loves to play fetch!! And he loves nylabones!

This past week, we have really felt something moving with our China adoption. We heard that a couple got matched with a LID a month before ours. Then in the weekly update, the Waiting Child list was said to be getting "short." A few people have had dreams that we are going to China. So...I decided to email our coordinator and just see where we are at. Well, we are in the top 5!!! 6 families got matched with this last list. So it is possible to get matched with the next list. A new list comes out every couple of months. I will definitely keep everyone posted on the progress. Just think...a few short months and we will be able to put a face with a name!!

Adoption Blogger Day!!

With all of the news lately about adoption, they (?) have deemed this day "Adoption Blogger Day." So here I am to tell everyone about our successful adoption story.

Chad and I knew we wanted to adopt a little boy from Russia. So...we filled out our application and started our paperwork. In February 2008, we received a referral of a curly haired baby boy named Alexei. He stole our hearts before even meeting him. We met him a week later and knew without a doubt that this was to be our little Tanner. And then we left. It was so surreal that leaving didn't even bother me. It was like I was dreaming the whole time. Then we had to wait...and wait...and wait! At the end of May we received a call with our court date...June 9th, 2008. We saw Tanner again on June 8th and loved him even more...we even got him to do a belly laugh! June 9th we were declared Tanner's momma and daddy and on June 11th 2008 we became a forever family. Tanner was 12 months old at that time.

Tanner is now almost 3 years old. He is a very bright child...possible a photographic memory. He loves to play outside. He loves everything boy...cars, trucks, diggers, etc. Tanner is healthy and has been very healthy. We thank Russia so much for allowing us to adopt Tanner. Our lives would not be complete today if Tanner was not in it.

We are now waiting for a baby sister from China. I hope and pray that our adoption story will again be just as smooth. I pray for the princess and her birth mom everyday that God will keep them safe and healthy.

Tanner has had croup since Friday. He rarely has gotten sick. I think this is the second time with a "real" sickness. We have watched Little Einsteins over and over again. He has 3 different movies and I am about ready to go buy him so more just so I have something new to watch!! He went to the doctor Saturday and was told croup lasts 3-5 days. Oh, I definitely hope so!! We are on a full day 3. Hope the germ bugs leave the house soon!

Hi everyone! Tanner and I met our friends at Chuck E Cheese on Friday. We had a blast. Tanner is blossoming more every day when it comes to playing with other kids. I still have to be there but he goes and plays! Yea!!!

No news on China. We submitted our dossier about one month ago so we should be receiving our LID (logged in date) anytime. We are still expecting at least one year from now.

They remodeled out our Chuck E Cheese and Scoop is now there. I think we rode this at least 4 times!!

We had our CIS fingerprinting completed on Monday for our China adoption. All of our documents are in Chicago with the Chinese Consulate getting authenticated. Once we get our approval from the CIS, we can get it certified and authenticated. Then our dossier will be complete!! So much easier than Russia. :) Hope everyone has a great day!

Someone liked Momma's new hat

Well....I turned 30. Not so bad, I don't feel any different. :) The family went to the local zoo for their Halloween party. It is called Boo at the Zoo. Basically you walk the zoo and go trick or treating at different stations they have set up. The boys got some candy and other goodies. Then we went to Hacienda for dinner.

Chad and I have been struggling on what to do regarding a new house. We were looking at building but we have made the decision to buy. We just don't want to pull ourselves to thin financially by building a house. I would rather work part time and raise my children than have a huge house. But I asked our China coordinator about an estimated time frame for Anna. She said 2010 would be a little too optimistic. So it is looking like 2011 before we head to China. It is a little discouraging but it still isn't the 3 1/2 years for a "healthy" child. Only God knows when our little Anna will come into our lives.

Hello everyone! For those of you not from here, the Fall Festival is a huge street festival that occurs the 1st week of October. They have tons of food booths and lots of rides. Tanner went last year but he didn't get to experience very much. This year was different. He got his first taste of corn fritters - YUM! He also got to ride some rides. I wasn't sure if he would go on them or not but he was a big boy and did! Enjoy the pictures!

Oh, how I love fall!! Not only is my birthday in the fall, but I love the crispness in the air, pretty leaves, and pumpkins! Tanner and I went to the local farm market and bought us some pumpkins the other day. We had a lot of fun looking at all of them and picking out just the right ones. Someone even got to ride around in the wagon. Some weekend before Halloween, we will take Daddy so we can go on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin. Will definitely post some pictures after we do that. Anyway, here are some pictures of Tanner picking out the pumpkins!
